Odisha Mens Hockey Worldcup 2023 - The World comes to Odisha

FIH Odisha Hockey Mens World Cup 2023 Bhubaneswar - Rourkela was the 15^th edition of the FIH Men's Hockey World Cup. It was held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, from 13^th to 29^th January 2023. It was 4^th time that India hosted the event, while It is yet another feather in the cap for Odisha that hosted the showpiece event for the second consecutive time.

The top 16 hockey teams across the globe participated in this tournament. After co-hosting the event at the spectacular Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium, the world’s largest-seated hockey stadium in Rourkela has emerged as a new sporting destination in India. Both the Kalinga hockey stadium in Bhubaneswar and the Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela, which are renowned for their first-class facilities, offered the best fields and other top-notch amenities for the athletes, the support staff, and the visiting press.
